Our story....so far

Some businesses are built. Ours grew out of the Queensland bush, decades of craftsmanship, and a deep love for the Texas Longhorn cattle breed.

We're Mick and Lynda Bethel, and our story begins at Leahton Park, an 1,100-acre property 10km from Charters Towers in North Queensland. Bethel Saddlery opened in 1988, crafting saddles, bridles, and leatherwork built to last. In 1997 we began breeding Texas Longhorn cattle under the Horseshoe B Longhorns name, and by 2009 we were sharing them with the world through Texas Longhorn Tours.

Today, that heritage comes together in Horns 'N Hides,  a carefully selected collection of western lifestyle products, alongside genuine Texas Longhorn skulls and horns. All the horns and skull are processed and mounted right here in our workshop.
